Sri Amritanandamayi is devoted to service which are aimed toward alleiviating the suffering of humanity both on the material and spiritual plane.  She travels the globe offering hope, love and compassion to l her devotees.  She has major service projects in the areas of care for the elderly, orphanages, medical establishments and disaster relief projects.  I have met with her many times overth years and she always radiate oveand blessings.  Known as the hugging mother she will stay up all night so that each one of her beloved devotees will get a personal hug.
